When we unsheath the sheathed keris, the point is to the sky. First vivisble is the gonjo. Then we look upwards at the blade ending at the point.

Counting luks ends also at the point of the blade....

Very nice tombak. The relief at the base of the blade was gilded. The technique is called kinatah. To bring it back in its original state the blade should be treated with warangan.

no. 4 is a chinese copy of a japanese tanto.
no. 1 and 2 are nice and worth keeping.

Clean the mendak and the pendok. Clean the wooden parts as well. Oil the blade slightly with keris oil. This fellow deserves it.

Sorry for the confusion gentlemen. The english language is not my mother language. The hilt Kai showed is the one i ment and is in my opnion more suitable for this keris.

I think the pommel can tell us something more. What i see at the moment is a fine kukri.
