It's a military sword of the seventeenth century ( south German or Venetian ). On the blade the wolfsmark of Passau.

A French saber for id

Engraving - Gardes du corps
The engraving on the guard indicates a saber of the Gardes du Corps ( France ). Probably a privately procured weapon. Type: Wallonne, about 1680 - 1700.
