Burmese Dha
I've added another Burmese Dha to my collection. This one has a very nicely profiled blade, with a deep belly. Appears to have a Rayskin grip, with copper/bronze ends.
It is 28" overall, with a...

The Wallace collection is your best bet. While you are checking out the blades etc, the Family can visit Regents Park, which is just up the road and a visit to the Sherlock Homes Museum will be fun,...

Ottoman Yataghan
Picked up this Yataghan this week. Nice old piece, with a bit of an untidy handle. Nice mark on the blade (any clues?).
It looks like the grip is a type of Horn? Blade is 23" with a 5" handle....

Nice to see a genuinely laminated blade, most certainly first quarter of the 20th century. The handle looks to be quite large, for a European hand perhaps?I've personally not seen one like this in...

Khyber Knife
Bought this Khyber Knife a few weeks back. Exactly what I was looking for, I didn't want anything too fancy, just the real thing!

KORA
I'd been looking for one of these for quite awhile and this one turned up a couple of months ago. I've posted this on IKRHS, but I thought you chaps might like to have a look.
Any comments...

Spanish Machete Sword?
I've had this large knife/small sword for a little while now, but I've only just added the end of the grip, which was missing. I fabricated this from oak, but painted it black to match the other part...

I'd say it has a convex grind to the edges.
It's got to be a one off blade, but was certainly well made.
At the end of the day, I don't suppose we'll ever know what it was all about, you'd...

Certainly a similar shape blade to that Bowie! I'm in the UK, so still not sure of its origins.
Another photo after a sympathetic cleanup. There were faint marks on the 'tang' showing where the...

Massive Clip Point Knife
I found this very large knife recently; It's 2 ' long and weighs 4 1/2 lbs. It has a nice convex cross section and the false edge is sharpened.
I don't believe it's a machete, with the clip point....
