By silver looking mounts are you refering to the scabbard? Sorry if I don't seem to know anything....it is because I don't and bought the knife because I liked it as opposed to any knowledge.

I bought this knife at an auction in Scotland about 12 years ago, recently (though this web site) discovered that it may be a Tumbuk Lada. Can anyone provide any other information (guesses are ok...
