Here’s another one.
This is definitely a “Down home” piece. As Crocodile Dundee would say, “This is a noife!” Slight distal taper at the point. Heavy blade.

Thread
You used the word “Thread”. I feel that this word, as you use it, is huge. Is there a place where I can get info on this ‘thread’?
You’ve seen the Keris with Petruk, and very fine ‘sungginan’ that...

for the price of a decent dinner out for two
they had a few others in there, including one that has been sanded so badly that all the pamor was gone. (Sigh.) this one at least was in pretty fair condition. Thank you, Alan, for your no nonsense...

incredibly well constructed blade!
it’s definitely an exceptional dagger, but what I like best is the incredibly good construction of the blade. In shape, it resembles a Moghul dagger. Extremely functional, and really an excellent...

you should try etching it.
an older piece would probably have hairpin lamination. It would be worth etching this to see if it is made that way.

here’s the finest one I’ve seen.
i’m not showing the rest of the Keris, because it’s very personal. I actually found it in a pawnshop. I have reason to believe it may have been made for an artist. It’s extremely fine. I had dreams...

Tibetan 'down home' knife
Found this at an outdoor market for the price of a medium-fancy meal for two. Sheath covered with thin leather. Heavy blade; at first glance doesn't look like "hairpin folding". Full length 15 1/2...

Nice sword!
Nice and very functional blade, (I'm big on functionality) that I'm sure works very well for the work it was intended to do. I'll bet you can clear the line at the supermarket quickly with that. The...
