Grazie Lew :) Can you tell me more about the old stile baca baca? There are some specific characteristics? I think that also the pommel is older respect the blade....

The older baca baca were forged from steel and were of a high quality compared with some of the later ones that were made from strips of copper or silver or base metal. |

Flavio, that's a beautiful kris. Nice composition with the wire wrapped hilt.
Kris' with a diminutive kakatua are usually older. I agree with Kai with this being late 19th cent. Good catch. Let me know if you get tired of looking at it. :D |
