Timonium Seminar coming up - get those table presentations ready!
 

Please don't miss the announcement at the top of the forum. I will update & expand it in the next couple days with more specifics.

I would like to extend again the invitation to members to prepare & present "table" presentations for the upcoming seminar. We have always had informal display tables available, but the past two years we have also had more planned-out tables with a specific topic or theme prepared ahead of time. This has allowed "niche" presentations and, frankly, wedged in more topics for discussion without have to actually block out a speaker's time. :) We have had some very good ones so far, and I am hoping for another 4-6 again this year to enrich the evening with thought-provoking information.

I have photos of tables from years past, to give you an idea of what one can do with this. For those of you who have never given a talk or presentation on our fascinating passion, its a great chance to share some particular aspect of your interests without the formality and speaker's podium. For those veterans of the speaking circuit, its a chance to share the latest discovery, etc., without getting leg cramps and a soar throat. :D

I forgot that Lew had started a thread on last year's seminar, which includes photos of the table displays. I stuck it to the top of the forum for reference. Thanks to Spunjer for finding and reviving it. :)

I plan to attend but my table presentation is not clear yet or if I will be able to do one this year traveling by train is a pain and shleping stuff to Timonium is getting harder for me. Will let you know.
