Hi Ed,
Could you post a close-up of the grip and blade plus measurements of the sword including blade length, thickness and width? Could you also include a few close-ups of the scabbard, in particular the tip and throat?

It is a javanese golok.

Hullo Ed,

Welcome,

Please post a close-up of the hilt and the other side of the scabbard.

At the moment, from where I'm looking, it seems able to pass as a GolokSoenda_Djoeragan (high-end Soenda machete) with missing Tjetjepet (top-of-throat); perah hoeloe maoeng (tiger-head handle). Ca. 19thC.- early 20thC. (Soenda: traditionally covered what is now West Java and western part of Central Java)

Best,
