Nice looking , but the rattan bands look like they might not stand up to hard use; I would've expected to see heavier rattan or iron bands holding the tang area .

The bands obviously show age ; are the metal bands silver/nickel or aluminum ?

Ceremonial ?

I donŽt know nothing about this bands, when I received the panabas iŽll put more pictures.
