Hello,

Are you looking to sell them individually or as a set? Also, about how large are the pieces?

Thanks,

John

Interested in any more information on bone carvings

Hi,

These are very nice.

I have two complete knives with similar carvings on hilt and scabbard. One is sized roughly the same as a tanto (but blade is definitely not that), the other is about 1/2 that length and diameter. The larger one uses three pieces for the scabbard and one for the hilt (carvings all flow together nicely), the smaller uses two for the scabbard and one for the hilt.

Do you (anybody?) have an idea what these are? I stumbled across your bone carvings so I am hoping you or another reader will have more information. I will also post in the ethnographic forum asking for more info with pictures...

Thanks in advance.
