what is this?
i have just inherited my grandfathers sword. i was just trying to find out about it.

after looking at all the pictures, it looks to me very much like the one in post no. 3 of the thai darb thread as you said it is 30+ years old, it's an earlier version of the ones available to this day on ebay & other sources & possibly a bit better made than the ones you get now. |
It is indeed a contemporary Thai Darb. The first one I ever saw was sent home by my cousin when he was on RR in Thailand during the Viet Nam war.
