Documentation of Indo-Malay collection
I have just finished my hobby project of documenting my collection of Keris and smaller blades (page 7 and 8) from mostly Indonesia. I have also included quotes from different old sources to the different weapons.
As in all documentations I am sure that there are several errors. But that's the advantage of the Internet, compared to static books, it's easier to correct the errors. Please comment directly or send me a PM when you discover something wrong. Maybe I will start with spears or swords in 2007... Michael http://www.kampungnet.com.sg/modules...view_album.php |
Great Collection Michael! Most impressive. :)
I wouldn't want to move this thread to the keris forum because there are many other weapons in your collection, but you might want to post this link over there as well. :) |
Thanks David,
But it's the comments I hope to get feedback on. The weapons by themselves are just a reason for me to find out more about all the "why". Michael |
Not only some lovely pieces, but nicely documented, and now and excellent resouce.
THANKS Michael! |
Thanks Charles,
It was the resource aspects I was hoping to achieve. As well as forcing myself to start learning a bit of the basics about Keris. Michael |
