Gentlemen,
Can you help me to fix the origin of this nice dagger,
A caucasian kindjal or ottoman or persian origin ?

Glad if someone can translate the cartouche.

It's Ottoman, nice work. The inscription reads, YA ALLAH!
meaning, O GOD!

I have another question please,
I put some pictures of the hilt,
There is a strange "pink-orange" line
Is it ivory or can it be polished bone ??

Best regards

Hello,
it's walrus ivory. Very interesting and nice dagger.
Could you please add some pictures of the blade?
On the previous ones I can't really see the nice turkish damascus.

Regards
Robin

like robin stated, it is walrus and as can bee seen often as well with yataghans this kind of discoloration does happen. Nothing to worry about at all !

It is a very fine dagger you have, my compliments !

would take care of the scabbard ; polish it with some oil to it, to avoid drying out and splitting. This will also feed and preserve it.
Similar with the walrus handle / grip for a good conservation and visual improvement!
