Very Rare Darfur Sword For Sale
 

I began filtering through some doubles that are in the collection and releasing a few as I see fit to make room for some new items. I am offering here a very rare and fine Sudanese Darfur Arm sword from around the late 19th century. This sword was deaccessioned from the Valentine Museum in Richmond, Virginia, USA (1898 - 2021) which was formerly the Wickham House, original collection of Valentine S. Mann II (Prior to 1898). Very good condition with minor loss to the sheath tip. It took me a few years to find one of these and currently I have two examples so it is time to let this beauty go now to the next care taker.
