Sangi Bagobo 4 Attachment(s) Hi all, We have quite a few sangi/ilap knives in our collection- but this one has a 'protrusion' at the end/tip of the hilt (brass). What could its function? accoutrement/adornment for something else? Appreciate any ideas/info. Kind regards Yves |

2 Attachment(s) Interesting piece! Would like to see the complete collection of your Sangi! ;) I don't think that there is a special purpose for the protrusion. Attached two pictures of my two honest examples. Regards, Detlef |

1 Attachment(s) This was a gift. I understand it is T'boli and this utility form is called a kebahu. However, with all the stylistic overlap among Lumad groups, particularly for utility items, I imagine this could easily be Bagobo. |
