Gamardjoba Bakradze,

If you search for "georgian" using this forum's search engine, you will find quite a lot of stuff.

Gamarjoba and welcome to the Forum!

Hope you stay and provide expertise: we need more Caucasian experts.

Sorry, did not put the name and email together - we already know each other, I probably should grab the honor to introduce Iraklii Bakradze as a prominent smith and collector from Georgia. I am really happy to see him on our forum (he once rightly corrected me on a georgian forum, that is how we know each other). As far as I understand he also knows our "friend" Kharanauli :) (I am sorry if my assumption is not true).

I am really glad that our forum becomes more "populated" - first we had ausjulius from such a prominent company as Kizlyar and now we have two georgian members.

hello, Bakradze,
how is the knife and sword making sceen in Georgia?
we have one or two shops in tibilisi selling our knives,, but not much,,
it would be good if you could make a post about the blacksmithing and knife and sword making that is still done there.. ..
here is dagestan there is far less left , axes and some other hand tools and pocket knives, are still made , but mostly the knives and such are made in factories,, like ours now,, .. or in china ..
