Is this shashka actually an Ottoman saber?

I recently picked this up from an ebay auction thinking it was a shashka variant with an unexplained screw at the end and an unreadable maker's mark. The scabbard fits fell and didn't seem out of place. After doing a bit more digging I'm starting to think this might be a converted Ottoman M1919 saber after seeing the same maker's mark on an example of those blades but I am not familiar enough with those to be certain. All in all, an interesting mishmash of cultures that at the same time doesn't seem out of place. Would be curious to hear y'all's thoughts.
