Yatagan with out scabbard, Greek maybe?

All I know for sure is that it is quite nice and I like it. The grip looks like it is encased in silver, and not like the more common tin with a very thin silver foil on top, which often wears off.
The blade looks like it is mostly straight with an upturning tip. Such blades are common on Cretan yataghans. Based on the decoration I would have guessed Greek as well. |
Blade mark is Islamic. But the rest looks Cretan.
Nothing astonishing in this "mix": blades were circulating all over the Empire. Good catch! |

If you mean date estimate, fine.
If you mean value - we don't do that here on this forum. |

While I admit that I cannot find the listing now, I am pretty sure I saw this group of weapons listed for sale recently on one of the Facebook Groups I follow.
