Looks like a hammer and sickle to me. Anyone agree?

Not certain......you could be right....I want a Kaskara ....but half moons please...facing away from each other
There was a Tabouka, a few months ago, which had crude 'half moons' which were facing in the same direction...... poor copies ?....genuine, but poor workmanship.?...... your guess is as good as mine

I can just imagine a kaskara advertized in the Hermitage as a "Sword of Comrade Stalin"
There was a joke there about a Soviet Museum that exhibited a skeleton of Lenin at age 8, and another one at age 45....

Ehmm. tecnically the moons faces one from another here....

Valjhun...I agree the cresents do point away from each other but.... the 'hammer/sickle' marks point the same way
