What type of Arabic dagger is this
 

I came across photos of this style of daggers but I wasn't able to find anything about it, your help would be appreciated

This is a Shafra knife. This dagger is common in Saudi Arabia, Yemen and Oman.
It can be of different sizes and styles, used together with a Jambiya or separately.
According to the design style, I think yours Shafra is from Saudi Arabia.

The subject dagger is an Al Mahri Khanjar, not a Shafra. (A Shafra is a small utility knife often worn behind a Jambiya) Refer Elgoods Arms and Armour of Arabia.

Looks like you BOTH are correct. where does a shafra stop and a jambiyah/khanjar start or visa versa. round and round it goes, where it stops nobody knows...:D I'm guessing the original author of the description meant 'pick' not 'pike' as it is s bit short for even a half-pike.

I always thought that these two daggers have the same name.
They are really easy to mixed up.
