Another rapier from the Auckland Museum

The museum describes this as an English rapier, circa 1650; hand wrought iron cup hilt Italian style; iron pommel. It has an inscribed fuller on both sides.

Yes it is , almost like the Englisch version of a Pappenheimer rapier.
The design of the pommel and guard sweep are also typical English from the first half of the 17th century, how long is it ?

Sorry for the lack of detail in my first post, I was interrupted.
Overall Length: 123cm Blade Length: 106cm Weight: 965.2g Balance Point: 15cm
Profile Taper: Shoulder Width: 23mm Point Width: 12mm
Distal Taper: Shoulder Width: 7mm Point Width: 2.2mm

And some pictures were I have attempted to make out the inscription.

The problem remains that i can't make out the othe side.
From the three Aguirre in the family, (H)Ortuņo, Domingo and Nicolas Hortuņo, none seems to fit :(.
