A Servicable Sword Or Decorative?

Apparently a throwaway, I would suggest it is a decorative sword. I don't know if there were ceremonial wedding swords or such but I'm getting that kind of vibe. I cannot translate the blade inscription.

Things like the scabbard rings not really meant for use aside from hanging on a wall. The blade grind and indeed even the extensive etching. Fancy without being meant as a weapon.

Thoughts on this one? Of course, not a great many images.

I modified the picture for easier reading and rotated it to the correct position.

Looks nearly Kufic, and I wonder if it is a Persian parade sword.

More like an Ottoman presentation sword. Date 1901. The inscription under the date seems to me like Basmala

Thanks a bunch guys I will pass that on.

I kind of thought it was upside down (and to be read right to left)

Cheers
