Does this Arabic styled knife have a name?

Just bought this knife but am unable to identify origin or name, it is 12'' approx from pommel to tip. Certainly Arabic styled, but not certain if it is North African or Middle Eastern. The photos below are the only ones I have at present, (waiting for delivery of the knife).
Any comments or info. gratefully received, thanks

Looks yataghan-ish to me: eared pommel.
I guess it is Bichaq... like any dagger in Turkey....
Just like any sword in Turkey is Kilic, and any sword in Arabia is Sayf...

Hi, Ariel, thanks, so am I correct in saying that the probable origin is Turkey? In your opinion is this a good example?

Hows your leg? getting better I hope

Just throw in my 2 cents.

Turkey or that neighbourhood is a possibility, but to me it has also something of a Pesh Kabez.
