I don't know much about this type of thing. It was for sale as part of the estate of a well traveled gentleman. Can anyone help me age, location, type of use, scarcity, etc? TIA.

Versions with the front closed were also seen in Portuguese stirrups, and still are used nowadays.
Cross culture between both (Iberian) countries and versions timeline to be considered. . |
