Anyone got any ideas of the regional origin of this horned helmet please. I assume that it is African .

And is there any significance to this hat Colin ? It strikes me as not especially practical for everyday wear !

Not really sure, I think I remember that type being described as a "hunter's hat" somewhere ?? Maybe just for parade or a sign of vocation ?
