16th Century Swords

Hey I was wondering if anyone knew of any good references pertaining to the manufacturing of and the metallurgical properties of 16th century swords such as an English broadsword or a Celtic sword. This is for a material science engineering report so peer review journals would be the best, but at this point I'm open for any weblinks...I've already stumped two professional librarians! Thanks for your help.

Try Ann Feuerbach ...

Hi ds.

You might try contacting Dr Ann Feuerbach who is a member of this Forum. She is a metallurgist. You can send her a personal message using the facilities of this Forum. Look her up in the members list (Ann Feuerbach) and you can send her a PM directly from her information page.

Ian.
