Kubur:
Thanks for the clarification. My Turkish attribution was based on a picture and description in Bernard Levine's book.* He has been wrong before, but generally reliable. Ian *Bernard Levine. Levine's Guide to Knives and Their Values. Fifth edition. Krause Publications, Iola, WI. 2001. |
Hi Roy, you were correct in N Africa, Tunisia to be precise as Kubur said. I think it may have some age say late 19th early 20th C. Unable to verify whether it is early tourist or not nor am I able to provide a translation but whatever it is a nice example of the type, thanks for sharing.
Regards Miguel |
Definitely tourist stuff. Sorry
|
Thanks for the info so far.
Anyone like to have a stab ( :D ) at a translation ? Cheers Roy |
