Need opinion about this "Dohong"

Original or newly made? I don't think Dayak people stain their blades with arsenic, so what is it with the iron grains and bubbly texture?

Will appreciate feedbacks

Hello,
Interesting. But this type of blades are rather rare and definitely not very popular. So I really doubt that somebody would take all the time an effort to make a new blade look like an antique one. So my supposition is tht the blade was heavily rusted, then cleaned in acid.

I wish so too .. But having mingled with some friends in the "industry" made me realize that these days counterfeiters can imitate the grain patterns quite easily .. After all, this dohong is a pretty easy shape to make ... But then I'm not so confident with my discrimination skill, hence this thread here ..
