Found this at an garage sale....did only cost a couple of dollars so I bought it....
Know that the pictures are not good but is it possible to say anything at all about it....any opinion at all, very much appreciated.

Looks African to me, too. East African, Kenya or nearby.

I don't recall seeing a pinched bottom to a socket before. Perhaps that can provide an accurate ID?
