Here are 2 of my powder horns which I have always thought of as Indian .

I think that you are absolutely right, they are both Indians.
I think if you just look at the shape you can be confuse with the Arabian ones.
First point, South Arabia (Yemen & Oman) has very old trade connections with India (mainly Sindh, Gujarat and Deccan). It's is the reason why we have these Indian jambiya and matchlocks who are very similar to the Arabian ones.
Second point, the shape of the Indian powder flask comes from the nautilus - an Indian Ocean animal (shell?). The shape of the Arabian powder flask comes from a goat horn (more similar to the Moroccan flasks). At the end, some shapes look very similar but...
