Native American club / axe .

Came across the attached at a flea market/ antique centre
Did not purchase but would not think they would sell fast so might go back if get positive response here
Looked to be the real deal except the stone seemed to be sand stone and not all that durable, but more durable than a head if you were hit by them
All I. All looked nice and grimy with lot of character no decoration just functional items
So do these look Native American Indian and if so would they be a nice item to have
Length approach 14 inches for both
I am more a European sword collector so these are completely outside comfort zone

i think i'd rather have the stone mace. looks mezoamerican (aztec/mayan) maybe granite.

They both look to be of the same manafacture and the wear is v similar so I assume they come from same location
Would we be talking 50 years old or 200?

or 2000? :) the heads maybe older than the hafts. the stone axe one doesn't look north american tho.

I assume the leather would be long gone on items of this sort of age,
Surely 200 years would be pushing it on potential age,
or can it survive a lot longer this is completely outside any comfort zone of mine.
I will have to think about purchasing now as these items are becoming more and more interesting

Just my opinion but the axe looks off to me. I don't know of anything being made of sandstone in my part of the US (La/Tx) and we have plenty of it around. The mace looks interesting. The fact that they match would make me think they're relatively new though.
