Can you help me ID this musket? is this maker mark on the barrel?

Hello:
The key (lock) is Spanish, conversion of a key (lock) Spark (flint), and instead of the rake (frizzen) has applied the "keep-bait". Displays the original holes, covered. The bronze piece that has been applied to the mouth, to mimic a blunderbuss, is false, and stock shape mimics Spanish butts. In short, I think a decorative piece. Affectionately. Fernando K |

This is clearly a very plain percussion carbine (short gun) of Spanish origin. Not only the lock and stock but also the Castilian shape of the buttstock are characterisitically Spanish, ca. 1850-60. To me, the 'mark' does not seem to show an identfiable symbol. Best, Michael |
The mark looks like some kind of crown with an alien head onder it, but that can't be right :o
