Tulwar identification and translation
5 Attachment(s)
Hi, my first post so bare with me. I bought these two swords recently, I know one is a Tulwar but not sure on the other havnt seen many of the same shape. Also wanted to know if it was txt on the pommel disc? Both have it in similar places and I'm fascinated to know what it says. I know there not the best pictures but I'm working off a phone. I'm a young collector/trader eager to learn so any info would greatly be apreciated.

Hi,
Welcome to the forum. This is a great place to learn and share...!!!! The script you have on the hilt is "Devanagari" used to write the following languages: Sanskrit, Hindi & Marathi. We need some clear snaps to identify what the script reads...!! my first guess is the name of the owner/maker...!! Regards, Bhushan |
