Odd knife for ID

a friend on another site is inquiring about this knife. kinda oddball grip with an added knuckle guard, blade has a crude crown and 'no. 13' innscribed on it. wood scabbard with brass bands held by tacks, scabbard chape is brass with a lead ball tip. looks vaguely european to me tho the scabbard looks SE asian, except the odd brass/lead chape. not sure the metal of the grip. the upper scabbard band at the throat looks like it has a flap for catching on a belt or sash when slid under it. the flattened guard is also a bit odd. looks a bit like a theatre made trench knife to me.

The scabbard looks from Philippines.
Best regards

Agree that the scabbard look Phillipine, i. e. Visayan. Blade is maybe a recycled european blade.

Detlef
