Hello!
I see that the subject from SEA. But that's all I can say  Please, what is this? |
Looks like a polearm (Chinese or in a Chinese-influenced style) turned into a sword.
|
I also think Chinese
|
I'm indonesian native and edged weapons lover
never seen such blade here ... it looked like an oversized parang to me but I may be wrong perhaps some kind of modification from chinese blade done by chinese descendants during their diaspora ? Donny |
It has features that look almost reminiscent of the Malabar Moplah Ayda Katti.
Especially around the base of the blade. |
