Curved 'dirk' for comment

Cant work this one out .... it is a curved dirk like dagger , 36 cm long , with brass and bone grip , brass mounted leather scabbard... hard to photograph are the etched words 'VICTORY' on one side and PURE STEEL on the other .

sorry to say this but, zillons of these were sold on ebay, they are cheap sub-tourist quality. ebay even had a warning flyer on these. i bought one myself & posted it here when i was an eggling. found the ebay thingy after. one learns eventually by their mistakes. the superficial resemblance to naval dirks has grabbed many a victim.
they may have slightly different grips, but the blade with it's "pure steel" is a dead giveaway. i keep mine as a reminder. |
