Very tiny gunong

Hello,

here one of my newest acquisitions, a very tiny gunong. I don't think that it is one of this small early tourist gunongs you may know. When I get it I direct remember this thread: http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showth...ghlight=gunong
My one is 18,5 cm inside the sheath 10,8 cm blade. Ferrule is from horn. One picture show it with a smaller normal gunong and a other with a small tourist gunong which I use as letter opener.

Regards,

Detlef

Well, Sajen, at the best it is a much later piece. The blade looks flat and not very old and the form of the hilt is also later. Bands on the scabbard look like aluminum. At worst it is a different form of tourist piece.

Hello Jose,

yes it seems to be later piece but not a tourist piece since it shows a lot of use and the flat blade is very sharp.
