Syrian Dagger for Arabic translation please!
 

Heres a Syrian dagger I picked up a few weeks back, I think its the Magadali Shams type, interestingly {for me anyway!} it is made from an old file blade.

I know the script on these has often degenerated so far to be unreadable, but a fellow forimite has suggested that the script on this might be translatable?

Any & all help & comments/information welcomed.

I may confirm you about the origin of your dagger, it's a "Majdal Shams' Druze jambiya"
your fellow's suggestion, it's too much optimistic ... :p
I've 2, and never been able to get a translation,
even if my wife is completly fluent in Arabic (mother tongue)
may be Druze language wrote with Arabic alphabet, it's a suggestion

It's still much les 'debased' than the script oftem is. Don't give up hope!
Look at mine, barely more than a series of squiggles:

The first close up picture, in the same side after Zulfeqar, it say more but I could only make ... "this sword" ... sorry could not be of more help, my Arabic is limited at best.
