This blade is a forged blade, engraved, even work but not high end work missing its scabard, has lanyard cord on the handle, with basic hard wood handle. The lady I bought is from said it was from WW-2 and she bought from another Filipina who needed some money. It has 13 waves and it is 26 inches over all with 22 inch blade. Looking for any infomation, blade has good feel, sharp and handles well.

Cool A mid 20th piece, I think, based on the shape and the engraving. It does not seem to have a seperate ganga. Probably a heavy blade with fine/sharp cutting edges. Don't expect folded steel. A decent modern kris sundang, and the story sounds realistic.
