Hi all

Seems Luc's thread on flying knives sparked my interest. That being said here is something I picked up the other day. It has some surface rust that needs cleaning but it seems to be a nice example with the fiber wrapped hilt intact.

Yes Lew, nice complete one, good shape and nice engravings.

Luc

I was able to remove the small rust spots and the blade now has a nice even brown patina to it. My question is do I go further and remove this patina to expose the bare metal or do I just leave it alone?

I will go further, but if you like it like that...

Nice piece! I really like the woven grip.

A very nice piece Lew. I think that I'd clean it up more to show off the great engraving.
