A CURIOUS SPEAR HEAD

Can anyone help out with this one. It is 23'' long with a socket diameter of 0.75'' . The socket has some odd gold coloured spotted patterned on it . Love to know where this is from.

This is a possibility but checking through al the pictures I can find of Ethiopians with spears I can find nothing with this flat disc with the + shape cut out.

Ethiopian pieces often have "+"s on them.
