New barrel was found

The barrel which was found by amateur archaeologist from Europe. Amateur archaeologist wishes to be unknown.
Bronze
Length about 70-74 mm
Calibre about 10-11 mm

Hi Alexender,

This of course is only a fragment of a late 15th century arquebus barrel.
The original barrel length probably was ca. 60 cm.

Actually to me it looks much like a cast fail that was discarded and never fired.

Yes you are absolutely right. Friend of amateur archaeologist have a second part of barrel. i am waiting photos of these now. Michael, do you have a photo of any analog of this barrel?
