i got this blade as it is..

the length of this blade is about 15.5 inches long..i dont know either this is new made or old blade.. hope to get as much info as i can from this discussion..

clearer pictures would be most helpful.....

anyway, judging by the ricikan especially the greneng and jenggot, i dare say its a northern peninsular piece...

Pattani! I say :) this kind of luk is the type I was referring to in the thread started by Khalifah muda on origin of blade. :)

It looks old to me, except pendoko, but even that is not 'brand new'.

Sorry, can't say much except that it is nice and a bit on the unusual side in terms of the amplitude of the luk, and the fuller works. But still, it retains the Pattani aesthetics. An extraordinary piece. Congratulations. :)
