I agree. Better photos of the sheath might be in order here. :)
Can't really tell for sure, but the hilt looks more likely to be antler than ivory. The blade looks a bit rough. A good staining is in order and might make a pamor ID a bit easier. :shrug:

The hilt is bone, I think. Pamor could be ngulit semangka, but the workmanship of the blade seems poor, same for the mendak.
Besides the one-piece scabbard, also the Madura hilt is noteworthy.

Pamor appears sort of 'twisted' . :shrug:

it's very difficult to state an opion about the material by a picture but I also would bet that the hilt material is antler. I see at some places porosity. Is it possible to remove the hilt from the pesi and take pictures from up and down of the hilt?
