Chinese/Japanese yataghan?
Does anyone have an idea about why all chinese fakers on ebay name their Japanese sabers as "yataghan"??

Not entirely true: half of them call their monstrosities "tulwar" :D
I'd rather have them adopted the moniker "kris", but I guess some of our fellow Forumites pay them danegeld to insult somebody else's favourite weapons. |
I have wondered the same thing.
