it's an inscription on an Afghan shashka blade.

sorry to tell you that it's not an arabic mention ... :shrug:
even if the alphabet, it's well arabic caracters :p

second matter, THANKS to everybody, when you wish to have a translation,
provide a good pictures, by
- using focus
- suitable lights to avoid shade secteur

back to the blade incription ... only four (4) words have been translated

I give in phonetic the 2 sentences, but without translation :shrug:

if it's turkish language, may be our friend "Zifir" will be able to do something :D
but if it's in "Farsi" :confused: ... could be hopeless ... :shrug:

on the pic, you have in the reading sens (right to left) the transcription
the 4 words translated (coze related to religion ... "Din")
DIN AL WA MELLAH AL

Dom, thank you for the clarification. It's all Greek to me. :)
The language might be pushtu, because the sword is Afghani.
