Kothimora Kukri

Offered is a very nice mid 20th century Kothimora Kukri. The bone grips are "smoked" for the ivory look. You can see the forging in the blade. The kauri/cho is done in the "eye of dove" style. Karda and chackmak are in the scabbard box fashion rather than a separate sewed on piece. This is another piece of a lot that I got from John Powell a few years ago and was photographed for his book which sadly does not look like it will be completed. $300. PM me here.

Thanks

Well OK no interest at $300 so I will drop it to $250 and then it either goes back on the wall or (gasp/choke) Ebay with a reserve.

Cheers

You mentioned handforged - is it laminated?

I believe it is laminated. Today I looked at it under magnification and I can see very small circular patterns. Kind of a round with dot in the center?
