MASAHIRO UCHIGATANA? SOSHU?

I've bought that sword recently. The blade seems poor condition, but is the signature from the great master Masahiro from Soshu, KAMAKURA era blade?

Gents! Any comments?

My guess is that the polish, or rather lack thereof, makes it rather difficult to make a proper assessment.

As the yokote is gone, perhaps someone's tried to touch it up a bit? Hopefully any such attention won't have resulted in any permanent damage.

I guess thatone never had a yokote.

To my eyes, it seems you can rather see where the yokote should have been. A shobu zukuri blade would probably have had a more gradual transition into the kissaki area. And neither hada nor hamon appears to be visible here.
