Hi everyone!
Marry Christmas!!.
A new entry at my collection but I cant find many information about it.
A caucasian dagger of 19th century.Total length 41 cm.The scabbard and handle are made of gilded cooper and enamel! There are a lot of traces from the gilding at the scabbard and handle.
The only reference that I found was a simmilar dagger at Sheikh Faisal Museum.
Also there are inscriptions at both side of the blade.
Dom I want you help again!
Thanks in advance

It is certainly not Caucasian. Persian would be my guess. 19th century or later.

Although the "Ali-zulfikar" sentence is spread across Islamic cultures, it is most often associated with the Shia branch.

as soon as you have a reference to "Ali",
