Don't know where it's from, but I love the barrel. A lot of attention to detail. Imagine, what it looked like when it was made.

Salaams All ~This one looks very much like an Omani Abu Futtila...(The one with the match) It is interesting how the National Museum people view this and I note the people who did all the Gun and Cannon research consider European involvement probably German in the manufacture...
See http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showth...ght=Omani+Guns

For a report which is Cannon Fort and Gun orientated etc see http://www.klm-mra.be/icomam/downloads/issue07.pdf

I confirm what Ibrahim said: Omani Abu Futtila.

I agree with Ibrahiim - Omani - beautiful gun, but the typical padded butt is missing - you often find these covered in deer skin as a hunting trophy for the owner.

Hi, BANDOOK!

Good Matchlock gun! My friend from England told me that these guns are sometimes found in Afghanistan.

Salaams Runjeet, The tradition is to use wolf skin as a talismanic butt cover ...in Oman.

Salaams Bandook, I cant possibly make a comment as it would be conspired against as commercial ... but I can advise on where you may get one if you PM me ...
